I almost didn't choose these mugs because of the lack of description. I chose these mugs over the other mugs I saw (which I liked the shape better and there was a better description) for two reasons 1. American made and 2. because there were more mugs in the set for just a few dollars more. There are two things I don't like, 1. there is a noticeable seam on the sides of the mugs (some are quite rough and others are hardly noticeable). 2. I have information if the mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe (I have had the mugs a week or so and have microwaved them with no issues, and since they are thick glass I'll assume the dishwasher won't damage them). Side note: the mug is a bit large for my hands to hug it comfortably with the way the shape is and the foot of the mug. Though I do have small hands. The mug holds 16 oz to the rim or comfortably without spilling 12 or 13 oz. You can stack them inside one another, but they are wobbly. The bottom foot of the mug does make it seem much bigger then it is and also makes it much taller. Overall it's a decent mug. American made, and good quality for the price you pay. I'm rough with my mugs as I'm clumsy and I have kids, I expect these to hold up well since the glass is so thick.
