Comments about Babyletto Modo Crib in Espresso/White - w. Toddler Rail:

I bought two of these for my twins. They are a beautiful way to get the European look without spending thousands. They are great for twins beacause I can push them up flush with each other and I also loved that there was no dangerous drop down rail.

My twins are now 16 months old and still happily sleeping in the beds. But they look terrible now due to teething babies chewing and knawing on the wood, as most babies do. It is so soft and comes off all over their mouths, like sawdust, and this was worrisome to me. I can only imagine how this would be destroyed by a baby who's parent's use sleep training methods where they are left alone.

I even spent $$ trying to buy the stick-on gummy teething strips, which only stuck on for a week. Disappointing.

Comments about Babyletto Modo Crib in Espresso/White - w. Toddler Rail:

I love this crib. It was very easy to assemble, it is very sturdy and safe. We have received tons of compliments on it and our friends can't believe how reasonably priced it is. My older sons crib was a lot more expensive but I much prefer this one.
My only complaint with it is, it scratches & marks very easily e.g. when you attach the mobile it scratches.... But other than that I would highly recommend it.

Comments about Babyletto Modo Crib in Espresso/White - w. Toddler Rail:

This crib is way lower than most cribs which makes sense. If the baby trys to crawl out there is less of a drop and you don't need to have a drop side becuase its much easier to reach down in to pick up the baby. I am 5'9 and this is a very comfortable crib for me to access. I think if your shorter it would be just as great.

The problem wiht our last crib is that the drop side was so cumbersome and loud that it would wake a baby and it took 2 hands to lift and lower. Having a stationary crib that isn't too high makes it much easier.

It looks great and modern and much more expensive than it was. My husband had no problem putting it together. Looks like it will be a nice toddler bed too since its so low.
