I previously stated that the leaking goes away if you remove the handle. Unfortunately, its not consistent. Most of the time, the bottle leaks. It does give you great tasting water, so I really hope they improve it. If you can live with getting wet, buy it. I poor it into another water bottle over the sink. I hope Brita is listening. I would buy more if it didnt leak!

This is a great personal water bottle. I use it at work. Like other reviewers stated, it leaks no matter how tight you close it. You have to remove the rubber handle and then it doesnt leak. It would be nice to have the handle, but I am ok without it. I highly recommend for personal use.

Leaky and cheap. Plus, the filter seems dirty. You have to squeeze the bottle to clear out the carbon particles before using it. I'd like to find something more durable, portable and well-made.

Makes our fairly poor-tasting city water taste outstanding. Very easy to use. Great to use if you have a baby and need warm filtered water fast for formula mixing without using refrigerated filtered water. Only con – the top needs to be screwed on very tightly or the lid leaks. Maybe it's because of the grey rubber handle..dunno, but it's a mess when it leaks.
