We bought this apartment to use in a small New York City apartment and so that our child could stay in our room for the first several months. Our 22 pound 10-month old continues to use it comfortably -- now in his own room. It has held up well and survived being rolled between rooms, moving apartments, and teething (well, there are little hatch marks below the teething rail). Overall, it is a great crib for the price and a great space-saver if you do not have a large nursery or if you want to transition baby from your room to his/her room in the crib. We purchased a separate 3" mattress for use with the crib because the one provided is flimsy and terrible.
