I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wood on the dresser ..... Keep in mind I said the wood NOT the finish. I like that the drawers are actually screwed together so hopefully the bottom will not come out of the groove since it all seems nice & tight. I am a little disappointed that for the cost it is only 4 drawers but it is the only actual dresser that goes with the crib. The assembly was horrible ..... NONE of the pieces are labeled AT ALL so it took a while.

Purchased this dresser in conjunction with matching Kalani crib and three-drawer changer. After reading reviews regarding difficult assembly, I decided to withhold that information from my husband - working together, it only took one and a half hours to put the dresser together (less than six for all three pieces). The directions do state not to use a power screwdriver or drill, but if you are comfortable with the settings on your equipment, those last screws went in fine with the power tool. There were pieces that did not have holes pre-drilled (although the directions stated it should), so having the power drill was very beneficial. Item is light and easy to move - lots of storage space. We move every three years or so and I am concerned the furniture will scratch (it doesn't take much for a dent or small scratch), but only time will tell.

This dresser is great if you are looking for a bargain and are willing to invest in another dresser within a few years. My husband is fairly handy, however, it took a few hours to assemble the dresser. The instructions included were not easy to follow. Now, after eight months of use, the drawer falls apart every day! I know this was a bargain buy, but I'm really disappointed in the poor quality of the dresser. We own the Kalani crib and have been happy with it thus far. Just wish we would have invested in better furniture to begin with!
