I have been searching for a bat house but the prices were outrageous for a couple of pieces of wood and some screws. This is the exact same bat house that I have seen other places for a avg of [$]. I like the natural wood bc its supposed to be painted black in cold climate areas and white or natural in warm climate areas. Put the bat house on a pole at least 9 ft high vs on a tree branch. Bats are ideal for mosquito control, they can eat up to 1000 mosquitos a night.
